A present doesn’t always need a card but if you’re going to include one, why not make it meaningful? Sharing a fun or heartwarming note can brighten someone’s day.
When we are careful with our words, we can make a positive impact. “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen” (Ephesians 4:29)
1. Address them by reaffirming your relationship

2. Show gratefulness for knowing them / being in your life

3. Reference a shared memory or inside joke

4. Show eagerness to support them
Examples:

5. Add an encouraging Bible verse or motivational quote
Examples:
- Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

6. Talk about your eagerness for their growth as a person

7. Talk about the future of of your relationship or journey together
Examples:

- I’m excited to see what happens in this next chapter of life together.
